sometimes, quite honestly, i want to play with new products more than i want to play with design. and that's okay. when that happens, i go w/ a tried and true slightly uneven grid design and build from there. on this page, i was more invested in a little stamp experiment than mixing up the design.
i ordered this hero arts / basic grey stamp with the intention of cutting it apart. and then got slightly cold feet. and then decide what the heck, i'll try it. and i'm so glad i did. i just used a pair of fiskars microtip scissors and cut carefully. i'm not a big background stamp user, and now i have a bunch of cool patterned stamps that i can use in small amounts.

happy thursday! it's another not too much planned day here. alex is at a robotics camp this morning. the lawn needs to be watered. ben needs to put in a bit of time on his mess in his room (we're working in 15 min incremements to ORGANIZE his stuff. it may be 2014 before we're done). i've got a couple of big checkmarks i'd like to make on my to do list. here's to making it happen, and having some fun in between. =)
