week 49 // december 3-9 : snow! christmas tree! winter program! plus a sick alex, some ben homework, snow sam and yet another trip to the store for apples.
there's some overlap here with what's in my december daily. i'm treating these as two seperate projects and not worrying about that. there's enough to worry about this time of year. ;) i also went simple simple simple this week - i stuck mostly to journaling cards + washi tape. i added a couple embellishments but i was mostly focusing on DONE.

not even my project life could escape my current doily obsession. i used a scrap left over from another project on the snow picture.
my favorite thing about the new project life core kits? besides the cool designs, of course. the backs are LINED. so if there are designs that aren't your favorite, no problem. flip it over and embellish in your own way. love that.

i love the look of a full photo in the journaling card slots - trying to remember to take more during the week! i also broke out my just recieved cobalt core kit. =)

happy saturday! the boys spent the night at grandma's last night and matthew and i got to go out to a nice dinner and then come home to wrap presents and watch downton abbey. perfect. we collected the boys + some christmas cookies they helped make this morning and are now ready to get to the business of winter break. time to make some plans and call some friends.
