hi everyone! i'm excited to be participating in scrapbooks etc's craft it forward blog hop this morning. if you haven't heard about craft it forward, click here to read more about the concept. sbe wants you to use your crafting skills to benefit local charities and your commnunity. each month, they have a new project and some suggested charities that it might benefit. you make a little something and give it to the charity you've selected, then you can enter that project to win cash for you and your charity. definitely a good reason to dig into your stash and get to work!
june's project is a patriotic thank you card. here's my take on the project :
(supplies : october afternoon docking manuever & SC exclusive pp from PAPER MOON, studio calico countryside picnic pp, studio calico veneer stars & mister huey's calico white mist)
the big stars made this card go together super fast - and if you wanted to make a lot of them, you could do stars with a die cut machine rather than use the veneer. i typed the sentiment on mine, but a stamp would work as well!
there are lots more projects out there to see.. head on over to valerie salmon's blog for the next stop on the hop!!
