my main downfall with holiday craft projects is that by the time i'm in the mood to make them, christmas is almost here. so then i don't bother. this year, however, i'm changing that. so what if christmas is 9 days away - we can always enjoy the decorations next year, and in the years to come.
(and besides, my boys are home ALL next week, and we're going to need to keep busy!)
first up, melted snowman cookies. it's NEVER too late to make cookies, and these make me giggle.
loved this post showing crafty christmas gifts exchanged by one family. REALLY love the snowmen. must make these. adding twine to my shopping list.

the boys have wanted to make a paper chain counting down to christmas - and while we're running out of days, there's still time. i love the stamped numbers over the text paper - what a fun idea. ditto for the banner.

ok, this one's not a craft. but i love the idea of a strip / ribbon threaded through a label. totally using this idea on a page.
happy thursday! i'm off to the littlest's holiday program at preschool - AND i have to finish up teacher's gifts for the bigs' teachers. i'll be back with those tomorrow. =)
