yesterday, i posted a tutorial on the studio calico blog on how to use the iron on transfer paper and the canvas fabric in the patchwork add-on to create a printed background to use on a page.
i made these star accents using the veneer from wedding ring + my fiskars M and XL star punches. i used the punches as patterns - the veneer was too thick to punch. i added staples from the tiny attacher - i've grown addicted to that little tool!
i have to say that i'm loving the finished product. it was a fun way to preserve some of the millions of pieces of schoolwork that we have floating around. his signature and this drawing are my favorite part.
