you see, our bagel location is DANGEROUSLY close to michael's. and so, this morning, there was a small excursion.
and when THAT location wasn't all that well stocked (and, um, everyone made it over there faster than me and cleared out the pinked edge circle punch!!), miley (aka she who REALLY OUGHT TO UPDATE HER BLOG) and i headed across town to terrorize another store. which had many more goodies.
the 2 roundish things are rotary trimmers - scalloped and ricrac.
AND, a little project the boys and i will be making for the wee one:
and, uh, i have to admit that there are a couple more things that i put back that i really really wish that i had picked up. and i WILL BE getting them, one way or another. LOL. (eta: just heard from holly that she was successful in scoring my goodies. heehee.)
i also got some MM funky vintage stuff... i NEED the paper now. lovelovelove.
and, to finish this off, i leave you w/ a picture of ben and his art at preschool yesterday. they sung us some songs and then lead us through an art show. too cute. =) but not sure what's up w/ the goofball face he's making. =)
we gave alex our little digicam so he could play photographer w/ me. he sometimes gets a little antsy at these things w/ the crowd and the noise, so it was the perfect distraction. =)
