the moments in between

ready to say goodbye to september

...and hoping for new beginnings in october.  we've pretty much decided to make some major changes for alex...  still wondering exactly where they'll lead.  the school he's in is a great school, but i don't think it can be what he needs at this point in his life.  he's emotionally not ready for kindergarten, and mentally ready for 1st grade.  and that's okay.  we just have to figure out how to deal with it.  easier said than done, right??

yesterday afternoon the boys and i picked up a copy of the curious george movie while we were out running errands..  had matthew pick up dinner..  and we all sat and watched the movie while we ate.  fun times.  thinking we need more movie nights around here.  it was definitely what we needed to end our week.

finally.

we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel of the school woes.  the meetings and tests and appointments are finally going somewhere.  now to figure out what to do with all of the info, and figure out where alex needs to be to thrive.  he is just too smart, too sensitive, and way too stressed right now. lots of decisions to be made.

and shock of all shocks, i'm finally managing to scrap again....  inspired by the goodies in the october scrapologie kit..  they definitely gave my stalled out mojo a push in the right direction..

here's to a good weekend w/ some relaxing, some scrapping, and a little getting life back into order..

*matthew and i celebrated our 9th anniversary on the 6th.

put away my new goodies.
make a grocery list.

instead i made a card w/ my new fontwerks goodies.  and now i'm going to have a drink. =)

 

(well, i guess making the card was a good move, since it'll be in cards jan issue ;)

2 cool things - the september kit at scrapologie is up & the fabulous KP named a font after me at scrapsupply.

and i have some fontwerks goodies en route to me from scrapsupply.  and some AC rubs from..  whereever i ordered them.  aaaaaaaaaah..  maybe my mojo WILL come back...
